The Foothills Club was established in the mid 80’s, evolving from a house party eventually to what it is today, a hotel party. We are a private members only club, however, we are not exclusive; we believe we offer something for everyone from mild to wild and all points in between. We encourage everyone in the lifestyle to check out other venues and what others may have to offer.

We also encourage you to compare feature to feature, being careful of hidden costs. We would also like to  debunk what others say to mislead you into attending their club, potentially putting you into jeopardy of being exposed and/or arrested. What are we talking about? top

The club you attend today, if it’s good, you want it to be around in the future, right? We’ve always said that if you are in the club business in order to make money, you are in it for the wrong reason. The Foothills Club has and always will be here for its members and is the main reason couples come from all over the Southeast to attend one of our events. We've been around since the mid 80's, longer than some of our members have been alive!

Our low lifetime membership fee of $10 helps to insure your club will be around for years to come. We’ve seen many clubs come and go with a very short ‘life time’. Remember, a lifetime membership is only good as long as the club is alive! Do we make money?

Enough to cover the costs plus put money back into the club to keep us around month after month, year after year, but remember, it’s important not to lose money; we are here for you! It's not a job/profession for us, we do it all for you! top

Huh? What’s that all about? Not all Open Bars are created equal! We are sure by now you have visited other clubs that have an open bar and even at a lower price. How can that be? Next time you are there, check out their bar and see what they have. Do they have a large or limited supply of beer and alcohol? Do you have to settle for something else? Maybe you find out you can get what you want at the bar located just outside the party (at additional cost of course).

Simply put, an Open Bar is not a benefit if it has limited stock, and if you have to buy your drinks on top of what you have already spent to get into the party where the Open Bar is; you’re spending more money than you intended to. We provide a huge selection of alcohol including Crown Royal, rum, vodka, gin, tequila, and more plus a wide selection of beer! top

With us, there is no comparison here as you are always welcome to bring your own or get your drinks from our Open Bar. Those with just BYOB can’t offer this benefit and charge you a similar donation for a party that just doesn’t measure up! Why go to a party with similar cost but you still have to provide your own drinks? top

Location, location, location.  We all have heard how important location and curb appeal is in real estate; the same is true for the location of a lifestyle club too.

Why should you feel 'dirty' about being in the lifestyle?  Why should you subject yourself to an inferior environment just because society believes that the lifestyle is bad? A bad location only serves to further the belief that Swingers are second class citizens.  At The Foothills Club, we believe people in the lifestyle deserve a First Class Club with a First Class location and accommodations; you are First Class with us!

This is where we believe your club shines brighter than any other club. Located in a major hotel chain location with amenities you deserve, you will not find better accommodations than at our host hotel at this price!

The restaurant serves great food and each room is meticulously cared for. Each room has its own unit  for controlling the temperature with both Heat and AC that works!

We know many couples love to take a nice hot shower too and at our host hotel, there is a never ending supply of hot water.  If you are looking to find out what's going on in the area, the TV offers local and dozens of channels too!

So you may pay less elsewhere but you will get a lot less too. Is it really a deal if the room cost less per night but you take home bugs with you? What about having to visit the doctor the next week due to the mold in the AC system, shower or walls? The deal you thought you were getting now cost more than you anticipated. Rooms are currently less than $50 including tax per night.


Roach motel or classy? Consider it all! top

Our members have told us overwhelmingly so that while some single guys act responsibly and with a certain level of respect, the downside is that this isn’t always true.  You will never feel pressured by single guys at one of our events! We do allow a select amount of single guys to attend our events, however, one strike, they are out! top

We’ve seen some others indicate that the Foothills Club is tame, i.e., not wild, in an attempt to make you believe that they are something different. Truth be told, all clubs in the State of South Carolina are governed by the same rules with no exceptions.

Alcohol can only be served during certain hours, nudity must be controlled, sexual acts are not allowed in a public venue where alcohol is present, just to name a few. Our events typically end at midnight for several reasons. Over the years we discovered that many couples would disappear at or before midnight and participate in activities outside of the ballroom.

Remember, this is a lifestyle party right? Ironically, this lifestyle involves activities in bed, that are often in the wee hours of the morning after a long day, after drinking alcohol, and dancing and socializing. Simply put, a lot of energy has been spent by the time midnight rolls around and if you’re not careful, you find yourself way too tired to do anything more.

Hotel policy usually dictates when events must end and we adhere to these policies. Generally, these policies are meant to help provide a suitable environment for other hotel guests too.

Another important factor which should never be overlooked; the staff likes to have a good time too! After the party, the ballroom must be clean of all leftovers plus equipment needs to be moved as the hotel usually has the room rented for the next morning. By closing at midnight, this allows not only our members to have after party fun but our staff as well!

So what does wild mean then? Simply put, if you think it’s against the law, it probably is. We do allow ladies to flash while in the ballroom on Saturday night, it is a private party. However, don’t believe for a moment that any sexual act below the waist is legal! At any time, any police officer can walk in the room and should any sexual act be observed, the party would immediately be shut down and you could potentially find yourself in jail. We know you can seemingly spend less at a party, but is it really less if you have to buy your drinks at the bar? NO

We know you can seemingly spend less on a hotel room, but is it really less if you have to hire an exterminator or go to the doctor the next week to get rid of the bugs? NO

We know you can spend less on membership, but is it really less if the club isn’t around next year?

We know other clubs stay open later than we do but if you stay all night in the ballroom and then go to sleep soon afterwards, was it really a wild party?

We know other clubs encourage their members to get ‘wild’, often crossing the lines of being legal, is it worth it if your club is shut down or worse, you end up in jail or on the news?

SECTION 16-15-365. Exposure of private parts in lewd and lascivious manner, aiding or procuring person to perform such act, or permitting use of premises for such act prohibited; penalties.

Any person who willfully and knowingly exposes the private parts of his person in a lewd and lascivious manner and in the presence of any other person, or aids or abets any such act, or who procures another to perform such act, or any person, who as owner, manager, lessee, director, promoter, or agent, or in any other capacity knowingly hires, leases, or permits the land, building, or premises of which he is owner, lessee, or tenant, or over which he has control, to be used for purposes of any such act, is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be imprisoned for not more than six months or fined not more than five hundred dollars, or both.

We would really hate for you to attend a seemingly less expensive party and it end up costing you your job, jail time and up to $500!  We encourage you to play legal, stay legal and have fun too!
